Esports Competition at the 51st Inter-University Games “Inthanin Games”

Maejo University, Chiang Mai Province, officially hosted the opening ceremony of the 51st Inter-University Games “Inthanin Games” for the Esports category.
The competition was held from 17–19 January 2026.

For this year’s E-sports events, the competition was divided into three game categories:

  • Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
  • ROV (Men’s Team Category)
  • ROV (Women’s Team Category)

The opening ceremony was honored by the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Veerapol Thongmark, President of Maejo University, who presided over the ceremony and officially declared the competition open.

The opening ceremony was further honored by the presence of distinguished guests who delivered words of encouragement to the athletes and jointly officiated the opening of the competition.
These included Associate Professor Dr. Chanchai Suksuwan, Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Promotion of Sports for Excellence of the Sports Authority of Thailand; Mr. Santi Lothong, President of the Asian Electronic Sports Federation and President of the Thailand Esports Federation; as well as Ms. Weerada Chaikittirattana, representative of True Corporation Public Company Limited.

  • 🥉 Bronze: Chiang Mai University, Burapha University

Arena of Valor (ROV) – Men’s Team

  • 🥇 Gold: University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce
  • 🥈 Silver: Khon Kaen University
  • 🥉 Bronze: Chulalongkorn University, Thailand National Sports University

Outstanding Awards

  • 🏆 Outstanding Female Athlete: Ms. Parichat Choeyarot — Mahasarakham University
