SAT and Sports Development Fund Support Esports Growth and Personnel Development through “Domestic Power”
Posted by November 25, 2025 in ACTIVITYNEWSThe Thailand E-Sport Federation (TESF), led by Mr. Santi Lothong, President of the Federation, held a press conference to officially launch the “Sports for a Strong Society, Career and Income Creation, and National Capacity Enhancement Initiative: ‘Domestic Power’ Youth Development Program 2025” in the esports category. The event took place at the Thailand Esports Stadium on 20 October 2025.
The opening ceremony was honored by Mr. Thanukiat Chanchum, Manager of the National Sports Development Fund, Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), who presided over the event. Also attending as witnesses were Mr. Klue Chusri, Director of the Regional Sports Division, and Mr. Phanthupree Dabngoen, Director of the Regional Sports Development Division.
สำหรับโครงการ “โครงการกีฬาเพื่อสร้างสังคมที่แข็งแรง สร้างอาชีพและรายได้ กีฬาเพื่อสร้างศักยภาพของประเทศ “Domestic Power” การพัฒนาเยาวชน Youth Development ประจำปี 2568” ซึ่งในส่วนของกีฬาอีสปอร์ต ได้แบ่งการดำเนินงานตามโครงการเป็น 3 หัวข้อหลักคือ 1.การจัดการแข่งขันระดับชาติ 2.การจัดอบรมระดับชาติ และ 3.การส่งอบรมและการประชุมในต่างประเทศ ซึ่งแบ่งแผนงานออกเป็น 7 ด้านด้วยกันคือ
For the “Sports for a Strong Society, Career and Income Creation, and National Capacity Enhancement Initiative: ‘Domestic Power’ Youth Development Program 2025”, the esports component of the project has been structured into three main areas of implementation:
- National-Level Competitions
- National-Level Training Programs
- International Training and Conference Participation
These activities are further organized into seven key strategic areas, as follows:
- Knowledge and Skills Development Training for Esports Athletes
- Knowledge and Skills Development Training for Esports Referees
- Knowledge and Skills Development Training for Esports Coaches
- Establishment of a Professional Esports Talent Development Foundation across Five Regions
- Youth Esports Championship (Esport Youth League) toward Professional Level, conducted across five regions and culminating in a national final round
- Esports Athlete Incubation Center from Youth to Professional Level (E-Sports Excellence Center)
- Creation of Opportunities and International Pathways for Thai Youth, by selecting first-place teams from the Esport Youth League (five regional competitions and the national finals) in both men’s and women’s categories of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang to participate in an international boot camp in the Republic of the Philippines as representatives of Thailand’s national team
For the Esport Youth League in 2025, the competition was honored with a Royal Trophy graciously bestowed by His Majesty the King, representing the highest distinction and marking a historic first for the Thailand E-Sport Federation. In addition, the total prize money for all competitions exceeded 600,000 Thai Baht, along with opportunities for both men’s and women’s teams to participate in an international boot camp in the Philippines.
The implementation period of the “Domestic Power” Youth Development Program 2025 in the esports category is scheduled from October to December 2025. Individuals interested in participating in training programs or competitions may follow updates via the official Facebook page of the Thailand E-Sport Federation (TESF) from today onward.
