Policy of the Thailand E-Sport Federation

The Thailand E-Sport Federation places primary importance on human resource development, particularly the development of esports athletes to serve as positive role models within the esports community.
Only game titles officially recognized by the International eSports Federation (IeSF) shall fall under the governance of the Thailand E-Sport Federation. Should game publishers or intellectual property rights holders wish to promote additional game titles, the Federation shall submit such proposals for consideration to the relevant authorities, including the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT).
The Federation aims to organize and promote competitions that emphasize intellectual ability and strategic thinking, in order to enhance the positive image of esports, including board and strategy-based games.
Membership Registration and Fees
The Federation accepts members in accordance with its rules and regulations. Membership fees are as follows:
- Registration Fee: 50 THB
- Annual Membership Fee: 300 THB per year
- Lifetime Membership Fee: 1,500 THB (one-time payment)
Members who have paid the membership fee are recognized as contributors to the development of Thai esports and shall be entitled to the following rights and duties:
Rights of Members
Members shall have the right to:
- Submit opinions and recommendations regarding the Federation’s operations to the Executive Committee for organizational development.
- Receive benefits in accordance with the objectives of the Federation.
- Attend the Federation’s General Assembly meetings.
- Ordinary members shall have the right to vote and elect members of the Executive Committee, with one vote per member. Eligible voters must have held membership for no less than sixty (60) days prior to the election date.
- Jointly submit a petition, with no fewer than one-third of the total number of ordinary members, requesting the Executive Committee to convene an Extraordinary General Assembly, provided that the purpose of the meeting is clearly stated.
Duties of Members
Members shall have the duty to:
- Strictly comply with the rules, regulations, and bylaws of the Federation.
- Conduct themselves in a manner befitting the honor of Federation membership.
- Cooperate with and support the Federation’s activities.
- Participate in activities organized by the Federation.
- Promote the reputation and public recognition of the Federation.
- Refrain from any actions that may cause damage to the Federation.
- Notify the Federation in writing of any changes to personal information or address within thirty (30) days from the date of such change, to enable the Federation to report updates to the Registrar.
Membership Advancement
- Members may apply to participate in athlete development programs to advance toward eligibility as national esports athletes.
- Legal entity members may elevate their status to become co-organizers of esports events.
Membership Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrate discipline and treat gaming as a sport.
- Manage gaming time appropriately without negative health impacts.
- Have no involvement in gambling activities.
- Have no history of narcotics or prohibited substance use.
- Serve as a positive role model for youth.
- Have passed a medical examination certified by the Sports Authority of Thailand.
- Have no criminal record.
- Be at least 18 years of age; applicants under 18 must have parental or guardian participation in all activities.
Use of the Federation’s Emblem
Permission to use the official emblem of the Thailand E-Sport Federation shall be granted under the following conditions:
- The purpose must be to promote the Federation and the development of esports.
- A formal written request must be submitted.
- The applicant must be a registered member of the Federation.
